We met these two at Patrick's sister's wedding back in 2015 and instantly had a crush on them. They weren't engaged at the time, nor do they live in DC but we told them we want to photograph their wedding. Fortunately for us, once they were engaged they reached out to make it official. This was our second time in Michigan and spending 4 days with them felt just like being with family.
On the wedding day, we had the opportunity to travel to a few different locations within the Ann Arbor area. They both got ready and had their first look at Weber's Ann Arbor Hotel and we did a few photos at the park nearby. We then headed to the church where Patrick grew up for the ceremony in Hudson. The reception was the beautiful Nixon Farm where we stopped along the way in a turnip field (yellow flowers) for a few fun portraits. The rest of the evening was spent with fun loving family and friends and some crazy dancing. We've provided a bit of photographic evidence below. Enjoy!
