Jenna & Mitch | Georgetown Engagement Session

We met Jenna a few years ago at her sister Lacey's wedding which was nothing short of amazing. So we were beyond thrilled when she got engaged to Mitch and reached out to us to photograph their wedding. We had a perfect spring day walking the streets of Georgetown and ending our session at the Top of the Gate.

Aida & Lafayette | DC engagement sesion

Sweet, intimate, full of smiles and laughs is the only way to get through a gloomy spring day in DC. Absolutely LOVED spending time with these two and cant wait for their big day!

Lauren & Brendan | DC Engagement session

Engagement sessions should be fun and we highly encourage our couples to be themselves and just enjoy spending time with each other. Lauren and Brendan did just that and brought along their dog Crockett to join in the fun. It was a perfect sunny day as we started out at Meridian Hill Park and finished in Petworth.

Allie & Blaine | NYC engagement

We LOVE New York, everything about it! So when we had to cancel our original trip due to the flu we were bummed out. However this time around everything worked out, well except for the fact that the weather didnt call for any rain and we got a lovely deluge about an hour into our shoot. Still when given lemons, make lemonade and we loved that Allie and Blaine were able to have fun and not let the rain spoil the day.

We were so happy to get an interesting diversity of images as we started at their apartment, walked the streets, hit central park, almost crashed a wedding, got soaked in the rain, stopped by a trendy night club and got to stuff our faces at the end of it.

Afsaneh + Zahid | DC engagement session

Ah the Lincoln Memorial on Memorial day weekend... We didnt realize it was even a holiday until we saw all the Rolling Thunder riders taking over the streets. Still we managed to find Afsaneh and Z in the huge crowd after getting quick and easy parking (we know secret spots).

This was a fun and challenging session for us because we had to find balance between dealing with the crazy crowds, looking for secluded areas and chasing the light as the clouds rolled in and out. We were fortunate enough that A+Z were super patient and easy going enough to work with. So looking forward to their wedding day in just about 1 month!
