Stephanie + Scott | Georgetown
Stephanie and Scott braved high winds and below freezing temperatures for this shoot. Worth it? Absolutely. To me, it has the feel of an Anthropologie catalog. The stunning winter light, their fierce love, lots of snuggles, and a little hot cocoa were enough to keep us all toasty. We had so much fun! Not to mention the fabulous cookies that Stephanie brought us! Steph, I'm going to need the recipe for the oatmeal honey cookies please!
lauren + scott at nationals park
kristiaan + i had a fun time shooting lauren + scott on columbus day. we had never been to or even near the nationals park stadium so it was a double bonus for us. we capped off our shoot at zengo and boy was the good excellent! now for some of our favorites from the day!
Kristin + Will | Annapolis
We woke up before dawn to meet Kristin and Will in Annapolis for their engagement session. It was well worth the extra yawns - the light was stunning and Kristin and Will are a beautiful couple, inside and out. We had a relaxed time chatting and strolling through the streets of the charming little seaside town. It's typically crowded, but our sunrise start gave us a nice quiet backdrop for them. We finished up with an amazing and well deserved breakfast at Miss Shirley's --- holy cow! Yum!

Awesome U Street Corridor engagement session with Eileen and Brian, winners of the Great Bridal Scavenger Hunt! We started out at Policy where Brian proposed during karaoke night. They even wore the same outfits as the first night they met (right down the street at Black Cat). How cute is that!!!
