There isnt much to say about Laura + Mike’s fabulous wedding at The Line Hotel that cant be described better than seeing the photos below. Laura’s vision of fun, eclectic, glitter filled, sultry and magical was perfectly executed thanks to the help of Sarah Kazemburg Events & Styling. Throughout the day, Kristaan and I would wink and smile in approval or comment about how amazing Laura and Mikes guests were when it came to genuine love, connection and sheer joy. We were so thankful for the pure happiness and sparkling personalities of Laura and Mike and being part of their magical day!

Terri + Brandon | District Winery DC Wedding

Being an SJC Alumni I was very happy when Brandon reached out to us after he and Terri got engaged. You know those hot DC summer days that end with an early evening storm? Well none of that affected Brandon and Terri’s amazing wedding day. B & T had a relaxing and peaceful which are not the typical descriptions for weddings as they can sometimes be a little stressful and high paced. It was a pleasure and honor for us to document their celebration. I really appreciate those moments between Brandon and his son as he was always by Brandon’s side like the perfect sidekick.

Karen & Brian | Fairmont Hotel Wedding

Real and intimate moments are what we love photograph at weddings. In fact, its the most important thing to us as it allows us to tell a story. Being creative and coming up with meaningful portraits for our couples ranks also high on the list. Fortunately for us, Karen & Brian were on the same page as us. We met Karen and Brian through mutual friends and former client Katharine whose wedding we photographed in 2014. 

Karen & Brian wisely chose The Fairmont Hotel DC as their venue which made for a perfect, single location to have their wedding. We couldn't have asked for anything more from this day which was brilliantly planned by Blair from Soco Events with Karen & Brian's vision in mind.

Emma & John | Dumbarton House wedding

What a couple and what a wedding!!

Its rare that Kristiaan and I are around the day that a couple meets, but in Emma and Johns case we witnessed their first meeting at Emma's sisters wedding back in 2013. So we were beyond thrilled when they contacted us to photograph their wedding. This was the 4th wedding in this group of friends we've photographed so it truly felt like family.

We knew what we were in for great moments, happy people, great connections and fun dancing. We got all of that and more, plus working with one of our favorite planners of all time, Kristen of Kelley Cannon Events as well as a dream team of other vendors.
