Zela + Jaymes | Love in Paris

A few months before we left for our amazing Iceland wedding, we connected with Zela and Jaymes in Paris about photographing their engagement session. This was our first time to Paris and we instantly fell in love. The food, the city, its beauty and history won us over! Makes perfect sense why Jaymes moved there to be with Zela. 

Though Kristiaan and I were fighting colds and we had a super overcast day to work with we loved photographing these two and wish we could have spent more time with them. Enjoy some of our favorites below as we navigated through the streets of St. Germain des Prés and areas of La Seine.

Emma + John | Kennedy Center Engagement

We love Emma and John's history because we were there when they met at Ally (her sisters) wedding. Fast forward 3 years and these two are now engaged with their wedding right around the corner. We had a great time chatting and laughing with E&J as we walked around The Kennedy Center grounds and finished our evening off with some yummy pizza and gelato at Campono.

Every year we look forward to June 18 since it Lionels birthday but this year we get twice the fun with their wedding falling on the same date. Cant wait for the day to come!

Jamie | A maternity session

Below are a few beautiful, fun and dynamic images of Jamie. We photographer Jamie and Alex's wedding many years ago and they are due to have their new baby boy Fin very soon. Jamie decided she wanted to put on an amazing dress and be photographed in nature. We did that very thing and had plenty of fun doing it.

Lauren & Cameron | DC engagement session

Its been some time since we've blogged. We're just getting back into the swing of things after our wedding in Iceland and trips to Paris and Geneva. We're also "back" from a rough week of both of us dealing with the flu which was no fun at all.

So its good to be back and have such a sweet couples images to share. Lauren and Cameron who we fell in love with immediately during our first meeting. This was in part thanks to Sugar - our amazing friend, creative genius and director of Taylor and Hov.  Though it was a cold and gloomy morning in DC, Lauren and Cameron did their best to keep each other warm and smiling.

Yuxuan + Guanbo | Four Seasons Baltimore Wedding

Our first wedding of 2016 couldn't have started off on a sweeter note. Yuxuan & Guanbo had a perfect blend of traditional Chinese and American culture mixed into their wedding. They were surrounded by their closest friends and family, some of which traveled from China for the special occasion. While they did see each other before the ceremony for the "first look" Guanbo, aka Bo had to pass a test which involved more sit-ups and singing [Mouse Loves Rice] than any groom would want to do with a suit on. I found myself sweating as he made it through his trial of love. Yuxuan was simply happy, elegant and beautiful all day long. Together they are a perfect pair and photographing them was an inspiring process. Though their day was short, since they didnt have a dancing reception it was filled with love, laughter and great connections that we felt privileged to witness.
