Suzanne & Andrew | Longview Gallery Wedding

Disclaimer: There is an abundance of beautiful and touching images to view below.

Some couples steal our hearts, other melt them away. Suzanne & Andrew and Blain did both. Blain is a soccer star and Suzanne's 10 year old son who was just so sweet. It was obvious how much he loved and looked up to Andrew. We loved all of the things that made this trio click, especially their family and friends. Andrew is a graphic artist and Suzanne is from Guyana which meant a great dancing party! Aside from a tiny bit of rain the day went off perfectly. In fact due to the rain we had their first look and portraits at the National Gallery of Art which was a perfect setting for them. We spent the rest of the day at Long View Gallery for a extremely touching and emotional ceremony topped of with fabulous party which was conducted by the band Amaretto.

Big thanks to our associate photographer Garrett for shooting with us while his wife was ever so close to going into labor!

Claire + Joel | Charlottesville wedding

We love easy going, simple and sweet weddings and Claire and Joel delivered on that note. We've known Joel for some time now and he's good friends with Ale and Aly whose wedding we photographed last year. Claire and Joels ceremony was held at the beautiful Wesley Memorial on UVA's campus and had their cocktail and reception on stunning family farm not too far away. We just loved all the sweet moments between Claire & Joel's siblings and parents and had a blast hanging out with their fun and crazy wedding party.

Congrats again to Claire and Joel and our best wishes go out to you and yours.

Lauren & Peter | The Oaks Waterfront Inn

Last summer we photographed Alex and Bailey's touching and equally beautiful wedding in Lake Chautauqua, NY. While Lauren was a guest we didnt officially get to meet her. Sometime after, Alex and Bailey had dinner with Lauren and Peter. As the story goes, Alex vehemently insisted to L & P that they must hire us for their wedding. From L & P's perspective we wish we could have seen a video of the scenario because it sounded intense.

We then photographed their engagement session in June of this year and totally had a couple crush on them. They are so SWEET and tons of fun to be around. They even surprised us with cupcakes for Lionel's birthday!

Their wedding day at The Oaks Waterfront Inn was nothing short of perfectly magical. They had the love and support of some of the most amazing group we've ever seen. There were so many feel good moments it was hard choosing what to show here. One of the most memorable moments of the day for us was directly after the ceremony where they quietly celebrated with an emotional "We did it" and exchange of some sweet kisses. We both remember crying behind the camera ourselves.

They did manage to pull off one of the wildest receptions that left us exhausted afterwards, though we wouldn't have it any other way.

Please enjoy some of the days favorites below.

Jayson + Simone | The Mansion at FDU Florham

It was one of those kind of parties! But before we go there, lets talk about the simple beauty and fun of the day. Simone was an absolute dream to photograph while the bridal party was full of hilarious and boisterous characters. We found ourselves following Simone and Jayson of a fun ride of silly, to serious, to romantic, to stoic, to playful during our portrait time. So much in fact that below is barely a sample of what we did. Their families and friends were equally marvelous and spending the day with them was something like a phenomenon. The day ended with a dance celebration that will go down in history. See for yourself below!

Enjoy!
