So many great things can be said about Sam and Luke's wedding. But first just a refresher of what their engagement session was like. There was one unusual thing that both Kristiaan and I were excited for their wedding and it was meeting Lukes mom who had become one of our biggest facebook fans and also friend-ed us; we really love that kind of support. When we met her it was like we had known her for years. The rest of the pieces fell into place nicely. Both sides of Sam and Lukes family and friends were so pleasant to be around and treated as we had been part of their group for years. It was a great feeling. Throughout the day, there were so many precious moment that we were witness to and we both teared up a few times especially during daughter and mother dance.
This wedding for us was much about feeling and we hope that we represented everything that was felt that day. There is a reason we do what we do, full day coverage, constantly shooting and looking for moments. At one point in the evening Kristiaan photographed a simple but happy moment with Sam + Luke and his grandfather. We sadly found out a few weeks later that Luke grandfather passed away which made the moment that Kristiaan captured so much more important.
We love what we do and want to keep doing this so that we can deliver these type of images to our clients.
