Selena & Kawone were introduced to us through a friend and client of ours. We hit it off immediately, from our first phone call, which we, strangely enough, had to do in an Adams Morgan alley, to the first time we met them the weekend of their wedding.
Selena and Kawone had their wedding in New York at the iconic Dumbo Loft located on the north end of Brooklyn. They live in Atlanta but Brooklyn is home. She loves running and traveling, he loves great music, a good cocktail, and Van Damme movies. Their November wedding day was surprisingly warm for NYC and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. We had their first look on the Brooklyn Bridge, on a Friday, at rush hour - that was an experience but we made it work. Their ceremony and reception at the Dumbo Loft were simply perfect. Great friends, great food and drinks, a few tears and some serious partying.
