Family Sessions
We take a slightly different approach to photographing families. We're more about documenting who your family is at a particular moment in time versus posing for that perfect picture. Below is some more information about the type of sessions we offer.
Day in the Life Session - $1600
We'll spend the day with your family.
This is a documentary style session where we do not ask anyone to look at the camera, pose or interfere throughout your day. Our goal is to capture what a day in the life of your family looks like at a particular point in time. We do not expect anything to be staged for the camera. We'll come to your home and document anything from the kids brushing their teeth, eating lunch, sending them off to school, reading books, playing games, join you for errands, the occasional tantrum, a walk in the park, even document you putting your kid(s) to bed. Before any shoot we would do a consultation on helping plan your day and what to expect. You will receive images on a USB thumb drive as well as a private online gallery.

Family Hour - $500
This session involves one of us spending about an hour with your family usually at your home or a nice location of your choosing. Instead of traditional posing for the camera, we like to photograph your family doing something together. Whether its reading your child a book, cooking together, spending some time at the park, going for a walk or even playing a sport together. Whatever it is you do as a family. Towards the end of the session we will take some posed, relaxed portraits of your family. This way you'll have a nice mix of candids that represent who you are as well as a few standard portraits. You will receive a link to download the high resolution images.
Family Portrait - $250-350
This is where you can pose for the camera. This 30 minute session is geared towards simple group portrait. Most people use this session for holiday cards. Our goal is to find (or make) great light, make sure everyone is relaxed and capture your smiles and some great family moments.
$350* - We come to you (20 mile radius from 20902 area code)
$250* - Come to our neck of the woods. Session at Brookside Gardens or Wheaton Regional.
