Katharine + Taylor | Ocean Reef Club Wedding

We couldn’t have asked for a better ending to our 2014 wedding season.  Katharine and Taylor’s weekend at the Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo was full of fun and love.  And when we say ‘fun’, we mean the huge, crazy, celebratory kind that’s infectious… and awesome. We were so happy to connect with Katharine’s family again (we photographed her sister’s wedding in 2012), and it was a pleasure to meet Taylor’s crew.  If there is one thing we’ve learned over the years, it’s that the people really make the wedding, and with this particular group of friends and family, it was guaranteed to be amazing.  It didn't hurt that they had the best band we’ve ever heard at a wedding, Soul Survivors, who kept the dance floor packed for the duration.

Gustavo & Alla | Bolger Center wedding

This was our second wedding at the Bolger Center .  It was such a wonderful experience to photograph the wedding of a childhood friend and we think that Alla is such a perfect match for Gustavo. Seeing these two families come together so seamlessly was so heart warming and also very fun. Their day was calm and easy going and with the exception that it was a little bit cold, the weather was perfect. The night was topped off with a beautifully decorated, Hollywood vintage themed reception [by Taylor & Hov] where the dancing was anything but tame. See for yourself below!

Lauren + Dean | Longview Gallery Wedding

Such great memories from Lauren and Deans wedding! We instantly connected with them from the first client meeting and knew after their amazing engagement session that the wedding would be one to remember.  So many smiles, tender moments and a pretty epic reception complete with flying dollar bills, empanadas, a ukulele, and Greek traditions.

Looking back and moving forward

This was an amazing year for Kristiaan and me. Really amazing, but also a challenging year, in a good way. We grew in many ways, as photographers, a couple and as individuals. From our life changing Foundation Workshop experience to personal hurdles and accomplishments we would not be where we are without you, our inspiring and incredible clients, couples, friends and family. Moving forward there are big changes coming for us in 2015 and we're excited that you will be part of it!

Aly + Ale | Barboursville Vineyard wedding

We delighted in Aly (Alyson) and Ale's (Alejandro) perfect wedding weekend at Barboursville Vineyards. It began with wine, laughs and tender moments on the rehearsal day. Kristiaan and I quickly realized there was a special buzz in the air between family and friends. A buzz that reminded us of our wedding. Visually, we are drawn towards physical connections, happiness and genuine affection, and Aly and Ale's wedding had all of the above and more. There was an incredible bond that extended past immediate family. We saw family and friends come together and open their hearts not just to each other, but to us as well.
